✈ I flew a plane!

At one point or another, you’ve probably heard me say that I want to be a pilot and on Wednesday, July 28, 2021 (the hottest day of the freaking year I swear), I finally took the first step! It was one of the best days I’ve ever had and one of the most fun things I’ve ever done.

When I signed up for the Discovery Flight, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. The website said they would let me fly a plane for as long as I was comfortable so I figured that I would get my hands on it once it was in the air — that was not the case. When they say they’ll let you fly a plane, they mean start to finish! The day came and I was able to taxi, take off, and fly! I would have been able to land too but it was a super windy day (next time)!

On the way home I was so flooded with gratitude. There’s something about having a dream, putting it on your vision board, making a plan, and actually doing it. The biggest thing though? NONE of this would have been possible if I hadn’t partnered with MONAT almost 4 years ago. The doors, mentally and financially, that this company has opened for me are like nothing I could have ever imagined. When I tell you that MONAT doens’t have to be your dream but it can be the vehicle to your dream THIS is what I mean! Never ever give up on your dream life. Take detours if you need to but never ever give up.
