how to spend the day in San Francisco
So you have a day in San Francisco and you wanna do all the things??? LET ME HELP YOU. I’ve got the perfect itinerary for someone looking to check off the cute touristy things.
Now depending on your exact schedule, you might not have time for everything but this should guide you in the right direction.
Rule number 1 of this whole thing is that if you’re a party of 3 or more, do NOT take the BART, splitting an Uber is cheaper.
HOW TO SPEND THE DAY IN SAN FRANCISCO
Start your day with a latte from Blue Bottle. We went to the one in the Marketplace and Ferries and you could spend some serious time exploring this place too if you wanted + there’s a cute little photo-op spot out back.
From there, you can walk down to Fisherman’s Wharf, explore, and have lunch at Boudin Bakery (whatever you get make sure it’s in a bread bowl).
Next up, you’re gonna ride a cable car (only $8).
After the cable car ride, grab an Uber and head to the Golden Gate Bridge. There’s a few different viewing spots you can head to, look them up and see which one is your personal favorite (or, if you have time, check them all out).
When you’re done admiring her golden glory, hop in another Uber and go check out The Painted Ladies.
Now here you can either head to Chinatown for dinner OOORRR you can do what we did and head out of the city (I know) to Burlingame and eat dinner at The Saltyard.
Lastly, head to Flights for a nightcap!
I made this super easy for you to screenshot and save for later, so do that…
